Premier League giants Manchester United have already completed the move of Lazio ace Sergej Milinkovic-Savic as they look to cash in on Paul Pogba, according to Marco Materazzi’s brother.
Matteo Materazzi, who is also the lawyer of the former Italy and Inter Milan defender, has been cited by Calciomercato as claiming his belief that a switch taking Milinkovic-Savic to Manchester is completed.
Materazzi said Sergej Milinkovic-Savic in his own opinion has already been offloaded for huge money to a club.
He claimed they are also waiting to offload Paul Pogba, to make space to bring in the Serbian official.
The 23-year-old midfielder has been heavily linked with Manchester United recently, with British publication the Sun also claiming an £80m transfer deal was looking close to happen.
This looks like a logical signing for Manchester United considering their needs in middle of the park, with France international midfielder Paul Pogba also an understandable player to be in the firing line in manager Jose Mourinho’s team.
The former Juventus creative midfielder has not lived up to be billing at Old Trafford with some inconsistent performances, and former Chelsea, Inter Milan and Real Madrid head coach Jose Mourinho isn’t known to be the most patient tactician in football.
Midfielder Milinkovic-Savic could be a lot more suited to the way the former Porto boss likes his squad to play, and supporters should be glad if these transfer deals are in the pipe line, even if some will undoubtedly be disappointed things could not work out better with Paul Pogba.
